Website privacy notice
This notice covers one thing: what we collect, why, and what we do with it when you visit this website, fill in a form on it, e-mail us or add our adviser on WeCom.
Pending legal review: this notice is a draft and may change once a lawyer has reviewed it.
Who is responsible
The website is run by the operator of PassBridge. Its servers are in mainland China, so data from this website is processed there.
- The operator’s name is not published yet; it will appear here and in the footer once it is.
- Contact: services@gdt-tech.cn
Once the workbench is live, data processing inside it is covered by the Privacy Policy published there: .
When you just read the site
This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics script, and loads no third-party advertising or tracking code.
The servers and the content delivery network that host the site keep access logs, as every website does: IP address, time, the page requested, browser and system type. We use them for two things only: keeping the site secure and finding faults. We do not use them to identify you or for marketing. For visitors in the EU the legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website.
If we ever add an analytics tool, we will use only what is necessary, ask for your consent first, and update this notice before we do.
When you fill in a form or contact us
The website has two forms: the free pilot application and the 15-minute walkthrough. You can also e-mail us or add our adviser on WeCom. We receive:
- the contact details you leave: e-mail, phone number or WeCom account;
- what you fill in or write to us, such as your name, company, a good time window, battery types and export markets;
- which form it was, the page you sent it from and when.
A form is sent as one e-mail to our company mailbox (provided by Tencent Exmail); the website's server does not keep it. To stop robots from sending it again and again, the server briefly uses your network address range in memory to limit submissions; it is not written to any log or file.
What we use it for, and on what basis
We use it only to answer this one question or request: to reply to you, or to arrange a walkthrough or the pilot. We do not send you marketing you did not ask for, and we do not sell your details or pass them to unrelated third parties.
The basis is the consent you give when you tick the box of a form, or that you contacted us and asked for an answer: for visitors in the EU, the steps you asked us to take before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you. You can withdraw your consent at any time; what was done before stays lawful.
How long we keep it, and how to have it deleted
Form e-mails, other e-mails and WeCom messages are kept in our company mailbox and WeCom account, which only the people who answer them can open. We delete them once your request is dealt with and we no longer need them.
To have them deleted sooner, write to us; we delete them and reply.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, and you can withdraw your consent. Write to us; we will answer within a reasonable time. If you are in the EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
When this notice changes
If what the site does changes (for example, it starts using an analytics tool), we update this notice first and the site afterwards.
