Chinese battery makers: build and keep your battery passports

If you make batteries in China for the EU, first find out whether each battery needs a passport, then turn your spec sheets and test reports into passport data, publish, print the QR code and prepare EU registration. You can do all of it on one platform, with a full Chinese interface.

What usually gets in the way

  • Not sure whether you need one

Home storage and portable power stations are easy to get wrong. The platform decides by the articles and gives the article behind each answer; if a case is unclear it tells you to ask an expert.

  • Documents scattered, some with suppliers

Upload the spec sheets and test reports you have; the AI pulls out the data and cites the page. Send suppliers a link for what is missing — they fill it in on their phone.

  • Who is responsible in the EU, and how to register

The wizard explains who registers and how the electronic seal works. When your EU importer is the economic operator, you can give them a collaboration account to download the registration files themselves.

The usual way through

  1. Check first

The platform tells you, model by model, whether you need a passport and by when.

  2. Fill in the data

Upload documents, let the AI read them, confirm; ask suppliers for what is missing.

  3. Publish and QR code

Every field is checked before publishing; your compliance lead confirms; you get the QR code and label files.

  4. Prepare EU registration

Prepare the documents with the wizard; submit once the registry opens for batteries.

Where your data lives

  • Source documents stay in China

Spec sheets, bills of materials and supplier data stay in the workspace and never leave with the passport; only the passport data is sent.

Who is responsible for the passport content

The economic operator that places the battery on the EU market — that may be you, your EU importer or an authorised representative. When several economic operators place the same model on the market, each has its own passport and the platform manages them per economic operator.
